The key readings for this week also offer lesson plan templates. These templates are interesting to review. The first template comes from the Teachnology lesson planning site: http://www.teach-nology.com/teachers/lesson_plans/.

 

The second template comes from the Lesson Plans Page: http://www.lessonplanspage.com/. This template is particularly thorough.

 

While these lesson plans identify a number of well-accepted considerations for lesson-planning, the formality of producing lesson plans like these can be off-putting. In this session, we have tried to strike a balance between discussing lesson planning ideas and the formality of the lesson planning request. It is good to keep the categories of these detailed lesson plans in mind when considering a lesson, though

 

To help support your own planning, we developed a streamlined template with your potential work schedules in mind. You are welcome to use this or a template of your own. In order to better allow for peer feedback, please make sure your lesson plans have the following minimum components:
